Hello! Normally I’d say you’re welcome to it, but as far as I know, someone has already been translating it to Spanish, and another group called Sharin Subs has also asked to translate to Spanish too? I’m not entirely sure of the situation, but this seems to be something you’d have to work out with those other groups.
But of course, no matter who ends up translating, all we ask is that you keep our credits page in with your translations, and that’s all. Thanks for asking!

Thanks, but there’d be no need for that. I’ve (kuru) got my own copy already. It’s just that I haven’t had the time to scanlate it. I was thinking to pick it up maybe after I’ve got y’all caught up with MQ, and that’s only if no other groups pick it up. Sorry. Everything’s just been keeping me busy.

Senyuu trended for a while on Twitter after the chapter was released, heheh.
Hey everyone, thank you very much for reading our releases. We did the chapter as fast as we could last night as soon as it came out, and the translation was actually finished then, so it was just some checking we had left to do. Please thank your super hard-working typesetters throughout Senyuu, Kuru and Will, and your other translator/QC, Gates! They’ve worked really hard.
On another note, Will and I (Spring, and it was mostly me actually haha) made a chatroom for talking about Senyuu and just asking us some questions in general on IRC (Internet Relay Chat). If you’re already savvy with IRC, we’re on the Esper server and the channel name is #senyuuhell.
If you’re not, there is a site called Mibbit that will basically open a web-version of IRC. There’s no signing up or anything required at all. Simply click the link above, click “Launch Mibbit Client”, and set everything like so on the next page.

themultihope asked: After the senyuu webcomic ends, what will you be translating from haruhara-sensei's works? will you try to pick up gakumon if possible? or perhaps any of the other series he's done? sorry if you get asked this a lot >
We’ve answered this question here before, but to summarize, we’ll only pick up Gakumon if we can get good raw scans. Scanlating is different from just translating, so that’s pretty much the reason why. That basically goes for any of Haruhara’s other series though, really. There’s a group already doing his older work, Hero Hearts (although I think they’re on hiatus, I guess), and a group irregularly scanlating Haruhara’s collaboration manga with another artist, Angel Game, so we’re not likely to touch those.

[Senyuu Chapter 4] Episode 16
I wish I’d started doing this earlier, but better late than never, I guess! After you read the translation, I highly advise you go to Nicovideo Seiga and watch the raw while you can (aka within a week - after that, you have to pay to watch it), because it’s just not the same without the music, timing, and sound effects. This week’s chapter in particular though, all of those were really effective!

Tiny little additional translator’s note: in Elf’s original line of “Yer pullin’ yer punches”, what he literally says is “Your attacks are too soft”, but the word “soft” he uses has the additional meaning of “kind”. Fitting for Alba, don’t you think?

Sorry for the delay! Nothing major, everyone’s just been busy.
On another note, we’re looking for someone to be a backup typesetter! Chances are that you wouldn’t have too much to do most of the time (or you could work in collaboration with the current typesetter, maybe), but… well, like I said, it’s just a back up we need in case of unavoidable circumstances.
